Dendrothepy: essence and geographical features
Main Article Content
Abstract
Dendrotherapy is a healing practice that emphasizes the therapeutic benefits of trees and nature. This approach is based on the theory that trees have a unique energy that can promote healing. Different species of trees are believed to have specific healing properties. For example, oak trees are associated with strength and stability, while birch trees are associated with renewal. Dendrotherapy techniques include meditation, where individuals may sit or lie near trees to promote relaxation, and physical interaction such as hugging or leaning against trees. The potential benefits of dendrotherapy are manifold. Spending time with trees can reduce stress and improve mood. Closeness to nature can enhance immune function and general health (Cheglakov, 2022). Dendrotherapy is often integrated with other therapies, including holistic breathing and yoga, to create a comprehensive approach. Additionally, dendrotherapy falls under the broader category of ecotherapy, which emphasizes the healing effects of exposure to nature and recognizes the interconnectedness of human health and the environment.
