Development problems and perspectives of protected areas of Adjara

Abstract

The article discusses the general issues of the ecological, social and economic importance of the protected areas, the problems related to the use of the protected areas of Adjara and their development perspectives. Some attention is focused on the sustainable tourism development strategy in Adjara, where the most important role is assigned to protected areas.
