Main Article Content
Abstract
Georgia stands out in the world with a number of indicators. Among them are natural and landscape diversity, indicators of endemism, number of resorts and historical sights, traditions and culture. These indicators clearly indicate the high recreational attractiveness of the country, which is confirmed by the annual increase in the number of tourists and the expansion of their geography. Among the recreational resources, resorts are distinguished by their special attractiveness.
The article discusses some current issues of human ecology and resort-recreational assessment of natural environment elements. Among the areas of interest of human ecology as a scientific direction, it is worth noting: demographic situation, health and life expectancy, specifics of nutrition, type and caloric content of food, method of preparation and storage, food traditions, etc., type of economic activity, consumption of energy sources, labor and household Tools, household culture, hygiene, etc.
The study of such characteristics and problems gives an idea of the geo-ecological features of the interdependence of man and his living space, the causes and regularities of changes in the human body in space and time. The study of such issues as natural and vital (economic) rhythms, the degree of comfort and transformation of the geographical environment, the ecological situation, the possibilities and means of using natural components, the attractiveness of Buneriv landscapes, etc., also deserve attention.
The recreational assessment of the elements of the natural environment includes several interrelated stages. These are: determination of geographical features of the evaluation object (natural component), determination of the requirements of the subject (recreationist), determination of evaluation criteria and parameters. In this regard, a five-point scale is mainly used – very favorable, favorable, moderately favorable, less favorable and unfavorable. Several types of assessment of natural resources are known: medical-biological (related to human ecology) and aesthetic (related to human psychology).
