Forms of biogenic impact on the environment

Abstract
Natural forms of environmental impact are mainly related to extreme and catastrophic events. It is divided into several groups. The article is about biogenic impacts. Among the forms of biogenic impact, it is worth noting the multiplication of pests, plant diseases and forest fires. These forms are important and relevant for Georgia.
The problem and relevance of forest fires are encountered in the world almost every year. This issue is no less problematic for a forested and mountainous country like Georgia. The area covered by forests is about 40% of Georgia.
The paper discusses the effects of these forms of biogenic impact, as well as the distribution areas and the causes. Also, the purpose of the research was to what extent the mentioned form is discussed in the environmental impact assessment reports (EIA) of various economic activities. As the results showed us, the mentioned form needs attention and extensive studies in the process of environmental impact assessment. It also appeared that it has not been discussed in various EIA reports.
