2011 - Geomorphologist - Expert by invitation of Mott MacDonald Group and Clean Energy Group.

2005-2010 - Complex field surveys of the mountainous and coastal regions of Georgia.

2004-2005 - Complex scientific expedition in the coastal line from the Chorokhi River confluence to the Cape of Batumi. Study of the dams construction related problems in the Chorokhi River basin (Turkey) and their impact on the coast.

2003 - Expert-geomorphologist invited by the British Petroleum Company to the construction of  Baku - Tbilisi - Ceyhan pipeline in the territory of Georgia.

2001 - Scientific expedition to study the problem of Poti Sea Port silting and evolution of a new delta of the Rioni River.

1990 - Scientific expedition to study the problem of ascending accumulation created in the Lajanuri reservoir.

1986-1989 - Expeditions to study the problems related to the shore formation in the Inguri, Tsalka and Shaori reservoirs.

1979-1986 - Expeditions to study the processes of the coast located between the confluences of the Kodori and Natanebi Rivers in the Sea coastal zone.

2011 - Grant of the Osaka University, Japan and the joint funding of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation (Travel Grant).  Seminars were held in Vaseda (Tokyo) and Osaka Universities, February.

2006-2009 - The National Science Foundation Grant No: GNSF / ST 06/5-07406/5-074. "Research of Tskaltubo (Kumistavi) Cave System and the Adjacent Speleoobjects and Perspectives of Their Economic Use", participant.

2001 - "Anthropogenic problems in the coastal zone of Georgia and the Greek Seas and the ways of their solution." Georgia - Greece joint project funded by the European Union and the Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technologies.

1999 - Internship (7.04-7.08) at the University of Maryland, USA, at the East - West’s Space Research Science Center to study coastal processes and the possibility of using Remote Sensing methods and new technologies in geomorphology. The following report was presented: "Issues of morpho-dynamical processes of the Black Sea coast".

1995 - Southampton University, Department of Oceanography, the British Royal Society Grant, May - June.

1990 - São José dos Campos, Brazil. Grant of the Brazilian Institute for Distance Study.  August - September.
