1965 - Candidate of Science. Topic: On calculation of the effective radiation in the Trans Caucasus mountain conditions.

2009-present - TSU Vakhushti Bagrationi Institute of Geography. Chief Researcher.

1971-2009 - Vakhushti Bagrationi Institute of Geography, Senior Research fellow.  Head of the Climate Change Laboratory (hereinafter referred to as Mathematical Modeling of Natural Processes). Head of the Department of Mathematical Modeling of Natural Processes and Climatology.

1956-1971 - Hydrometeorological Scientific - Research Institute. Head of the Sector for Radiation Research, Senior Research fellow, Junior Research fellow, Laboratorian.

 

Scientific papers:

167 articles. 12 of them are published in the International impact - factor journals, 38-in the Bulletins of Academy of Sciences of Georgia, 14 - in the Proceedings of International Conferences and Symposiums (in the USA, Canada, France, Austria, Switzerland, Japan, Turkey and Russia), 17 - in the Proceedings of former Soviet-Union Conferences and Symposiums, the rest (including 6 monographs) - in the republican publications.

 

Awards:

2009 - The National Prize Laureate for the cycle of scientific papers on climate change in Georgia in recent years.

Since 2005 - the Foreign Member of the Scientific Board of the USA Institute of Bibliography.

2002 - "American Medal of Honor" of the USA Institute of Bibliography.
